Dr. Vincci Ngan
DIRECTOR
Dr. Vincci Ngan is a a board-certified general neurologist in both the United States and Canada, with a focused interest in headache medicine.
Born in Hong Kong, Dr. Ngan immigrated with her family to the New York Metro Area and stayed there through her medical training at New York University, where she completed her medical degree, neurology residency, as well as fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology. She then moved her private practice to Westchester County, New York for 5 years, before returning to the Faculty Practice Group as Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University.
Over the years, her clinical interests broadened, and she cultivated a particular passion for treating headache and migraine disorders - a field in which she finds meaningful, long-term connections with patients and the opportunity to significantly improve quality of life.
In 2021, Dr. Ngan relocated with her family to Abbotsford, British Columbia, where she has had a solo practice and also served as staff at Abbotsford Regional Hospital.
She co-founded Fraser Valley Headache and Neurology Specialists with her colleague, Dr. Anisha Bhangav, in 2024, in order to offer dedicated, collaborate care for patients with complex neurological conditions.
Dr. Ngan sees a wide range of neurological conditions, including headache and migraine disorders, stroke, movement disorders, and epilepsy. She strives for compassionate, patient-centred care and is committed to cultivating long term therapeutic relationships.
Dr. Ngan also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia, where she is involved in teaching medical students and residents. She values the opportunity to support learners in their clinical development and to stay engaged with current developments in neurology through academic involvement and collaborative care.

Dr. Anisha Bhangav
DIRECTOR
Dr. Anisha Bhangav is a board-certified neurologist in both the United States and Canada, with a special interest in headache medicine and neuromuscular disorders.
Born and raised in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Dr. Bhangav pursued her medical training in the United States, completing her neurology residency at the University of Minnesota, followed by fellowship training in Neuromuscular Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. After several years in the U.S., she returned to British Columbia in 2018.
Over time, Dr. Bhangav developed a particular passion for headache medicine, drawn by the significant impact that effective treatment can have on patients’ quality of life. Dr. Bhangav’s goal is to approach headache management holistically—combining lifestyle and non-pharmacological strategies with evidence-based medications (such as CGRP inhibitors) and advanced techniques such as Botox injections or nerve blocks to provide personalized, comprehensive care.
She now maintains a practice focusing mainly on headache and migraine, as well as neuromuscular diseases.
At Abbotsford Regional Hospital, she provides both outpatient and inpatient neurological care. She is committed to patient-centred, compassionate care and values building long-term relationships with her patients.
In 2024, she co-founded Fraser Valley Headache and Neurology Specialists alongside her colleague, Dr. Vincci Ngan, to offer comprehensive, collaborative care for individuals with headache disorders and other complex neurological conditions.

Kayla Kinsman
CLINICAL COUNSELLOR
Kayla Kinsman specializes in neuroplasticity-informed psychotherapy and interdisciplinary neuro-behavioural health. She provides advanced, precision-based counselling for individuals living with neurological conditions, chronic pain, migraine disorders, and trauma-related nervous system dysregulation. As the in-house counsellor for Fraser Valley Headache and Neurology Specialists, Kayla collaborates closely with the neurology team to offer integrative, psychologically supportive care that enhances clinical outcomes and improves quality of life.
Kayla has a Bachelor of Arts with Honours Psychology and a Master’s Degree with Honours in Counselling Psychology, with an academic background in psychological research, human biology, neuropsychology, cognitive psychology, psychopathology, biological psychology. Her work is grounded in contemporary research on experience-dependent brain change and interdisciplinary rehabilitation. Her services are particularly tailored for patients whose psychological health, brain function, and physical wellbeing are closely interwoven - such as those recovering from concussion, managing migraines, chronic pain, living with neurodegenerative conditions, or adapting to complex chronic illness.
Kayla’s therapy models are structured around the principles of Integrated Clinical Neuro-Behavioural Health Care, a collaborative framework designed to support emotional, cognitive, and functional recovery.
Her sessions are tailored to support functional improvement, emotional resilience, and quality of life by offering emotionally attuned, behaviorally focused care within a neuro-informed treatment context.
Kayla is available for private sessions, interdisciplinary case consultations, and integrated therapy planning with referring providers.
